Gag grouper are starting to show up a little ahead of schedule this year. Anyway I will take it, there have been many gags showing up in the forty to seventy foot range with nice catches on almost every trip we take. With what most consider to be the start of gag grouper season, could this be the best season in several years? It may be to early to tell yet but according to early fishing reports from several boats things are looking good for this year!

The trolling is still great with lots of big Spanish mackerel around just about everywhere. The big daddy King mackerel should be here soon as well.

Offshore action still paying off with big grouper and lots of red snapper, season will close at the end of month for the red snapper though, so get them while you can.
