Deep sea fishing charter report for St Pete

Report Date: January 8, 2007

Grouper fishing seems to be getting better inshore (inside of 20 miles)all the time. This is the best grouper fishing I have seen in at least three or four years. The last few years, with the hurricanes and red tide, gave us a tough time but happy days are back again.

offshore about fourty to fifty miles the Red Grouper, Gags Grouper and Mangrove snapper are on fire, we caught the boat limit of twenty grouper in three stops fishing hard bottom.

Red snapper are thick like black beans on rice outside of forty miles (about 100 ft), to bad the season is closed and doesn't open until April 21st. So thay better find a new hidout come April 21st or I,am catching my limit on red snapper too.

Kingfish and bonita seem to still br hanging around Wrecks here and there normaly thay migrated south past us in the winter. But it Looks like we are in for a mild winter though with great fishing, so call us today and let's go fishing!!!
