Kings are Back in Town

Well guys dust off the down riggers and start twisting wire becasue the Kings are here.Most off the good size bait have been offshore on hard bottom and also around the cargo ships. Here is a picture of a 41.2 oz King Mac that was caught 24 miles from john's Pass with a charter on a SKA Tournament weekend. Spanish mackeral are all over the beach almost any were you can find a bait school.Slow trolling has been working great with live bait or you can us spoons at a faster pase.A 750ss spinning rode with 20lb test will do the job.You can also use a shamono TLD 25 with 20-25 lb test with a light action rod for fun.
