Fishing Reports

Mackerel are here!!

Report Date: April 5, 2005

Kingfish and mackerel are finally here and they are more than welcome to stay. Mackerel can be caught from the beach out to about ten miles... Many of the popular artificial reefs are holding mackerel at this time. Kingfish on the other hand are just starting to show up and should continue to increase in numbers as days go by.

Grouper fishing is about as slow inshore as it gets. Which is inside of 20 miles. It is normal to be a bit slow in march as the larger fish are offshore spawning, however this year it is much slower than normal. We all look forward to the opening of red snapper season on April 21st.

Thanks again. And don't forget to book your trip of a life time with us. 1-800-350-5001
